The Candy Foundation is seeking a skilled Grant Writer to help secure funding for its mission of spreading the joy of reading. This role is ideal for someone passionate about books and experienced in writing persuasive grant proposals, providing a chance to make a significant impact.

Activities Involved:

Research Funding Opportunities: The Grant Writer will identify potential grants and funding sources that align with the foundation's mission.
Write Grant Proposals: They will craft compelling grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and reports for potential funders.
Collaborate with the Team: The Grant Writer will work with team members to gather necessary information and data for proposals.
Manage Deadlines: They will maintain a calendar of grant deadlines to ensure all applications are submitted on time.
Track Grant Status: The role involves monitoring the progress of submitted grants, including follow-up communications with funders.
Record Keeping: The Grant Writer will keep detailed records of all grant-related activities and correspondence.
